I seem to fall into the the same habit every year of setting these really lofty goals. I don’t think it’s bad, but I’m definitely not always realistic and forget that priorities change and what I think is best for me at the beginning of the year doesn’t end up being so later.
This year I’ve set a few goals personally, and then a couple family ones. When it comes to my personal goals, I them down into categories: Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, and Professional.
Here are some of my goals for 2018
Physical: exercise consistently • consume healthy foods in healthy portions • Reduce & Simplify • Create order
Spiritual: read The Book of Mormon • Pray more consistently throughout the day • Love the Sisters I Visit Teach
Emotional: be happy more often • worry less • think of how others want to be treated
Other: Wife Hard, Mom Hard, Work Hard • Contribute more than I consume • Love my People
